Unexpected death

Death comes unexpectedly. A relative was OK 1 minute. Then passed out the other. Gained back his conciousness, then after a while passed out again. That was yesterday afternoon. He never woke up after that...
He passed away about an hour ago.
Innalillahi wa inna ilahi raji'un. May Allah accepts him as a good muslim.
Question is: Are we ready to be 'invited'? Unexpectedly... No appoinments. Just like that...

That was my FB status that I posted late last night upon receiving the news of my mums cousins husbands death. We are neighbours here in Bukit Jelutong.

On Saturday night, just as I had finished my dinner with my kids and dear friend/sis Dayang Hayani I got a phone call from my mums cousin ~Aunty Nana~ telling me that the late Pak Teh Yusuf was critical and had been admitted to hospital. He was then at the Emergency and Trauma Centre of PPUM.His wife my Mak Teh Solhah had asked me and hubby to come in that night.

Although I was feeling terribly tired and was breathing rather heavy,I managed to pull myself together and got ready to go to hospital.Left the girls with my friend and went with Usamah and my husband.

As I wrote in my status, when we arrived Pak Teh was unconcious. In coma I suppose.
It scares me to think if my life will end so sudden like Pak Teh.Well one minute than pass out the other and never waking up again.Ever!
No more last words.
No more last kisses.
No more last zikirs.
No more last solats.
No more last thoughts.
No more last sharings.
Just like that!
Thats why we just have to always be prepared in all occasions. At all times. For when the angel of death comes to visit us to take us away we are in our best to meet our Creator.

"" Verily, with ALLAH alone is the knowledge of the Hour. And HE sends down the rain, and HE knows what is in the wombs. And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Surely, ALLAH is All-Knowing, All-Aware. "" 31:34

Alhamdulillah Pak Tehs funeral went very smoothly.A good sign I hope.
He was discharged from the hospital less than half an hour from his death time.Families far and near came to see.
By 9 a.m he was already bathed and prayed at the Bukit Jelutong Masjid. Then brought to the Muslim Burial Grounds at Section 21 Shah Alam.It was drizzling softly and the weather was cool.Just about 10a.m. everything was finished.
From digging his grave,to laying him in it,to doa,to tazkirah.
Only as families and friends started to leave the burial grounds did it started to rain heavily.
May Pak Teh rest in peace.
May his wife and child be strong to face this trial.
And may we all take a lesson of things that happen around us.Whether its to ourself or others.

We will all leave this world...sooner or later! Its just a matter of time.
